Wrongful Death Man Pleads Guilty in 2012 DUI Crash

A Lincoln County man entered a guilty plea to second-degree manslaughter in the 2012 vehicle death of a Lawrenceburg woman.

Eric Jenkins was initially charged with murder. A judge recommended he spend six years behind bars, but final sentencing will be July 8.

The Herald-Leader reports Jenkins was driving a dump truck on US 62 when he hit a car driven by Marie Garmon head-on.

A state police investigation found Jenkins was under the influence at the time of the crash.

Pedophile Tracking Metro Atlanta Health-care CEO Charged

Hartford, Ala., police arrested Tenet Healthcare Corp.’s Southern region CEO Michael Lee Graue after he allegedly traveled across state lines to have sex with what he thought was a 14-year-old girl, according to Dothan First.

Tenet fired the 58-year-old metro Atlanta health-care executive, who was released Monday after posting a $200,000 bond.

Hartford Police worked with perverted-justice.com, which targets child predators using caseworkers who pretend to be children and engage adults.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

“Graue made contact with the ‘14-year-old’ and quickly arranged to meet her in Hartford,” Opp News reported. “He got a hotel room in Dothan for two days and traveled to Hartford Friday night.”

“Graue is accused of soliciting child sex through the use of a computer and traveling to meet an underage child for the purpose of engaging in illegal sexual activity,” Dothan First reported. “Both are felonies and punishable by up to 20 years in prison under Alabama law.”

In Georgia, Dallas-based Tenet (NYSE: THC) operates Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta Medical Center-South Campus in East Point, North Fulton Hospital, Spalding Regional Hospital and Sylvan Grove Hospital.

Private Investigator, Two Men Tried to Lure Two Lexington Students

The Fayette County School system is notifying parents about two men who tried to lure two Lexington students to their truck Monday.

Lexington public schools sent home letters Monday with students explaining exactly what happened at the intersection of Wilson Downing and Allonte Brooke Court and saying that police are investigation the situation.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

And the school system along with police echo the concern that parents should be vigilant about people who might seem suspicious.

“It’s best to remind kids most adults have GPS, cell phones and can talk to another adult,” Sherelle Roberts of the Lexington Police Department said. “So there’s really no reason for a stranger to be asking a child for help of any kind.”

Turns out, this is not the first time the driver of a suspicious red pickup truck has tried interacting with Lexington students this school year.

The previous incident happened back in August near the intersection of Winthrop Drive and Millpond Road where we’re told a man asked a girl walking to school to get in his truck. The girl did run away.

Other students also reported seeing the same suspicious vehicle.

Police have not confirmed that these two cases are connected.

Parents in the neighborhood now plan to have adults present at each bus stop.

Wrongful Death Mark Dunn’s Murder Unsolved After 6 Years

Mark Dunn was shot to death then set on fire in a burned out truck six years ago.

His sister believes the truth lies in the hands of several people.

It feels like it was just yesterday- everyday because the reality of it…nothing has changed,” Dunn’s sister Anna Long said.

Dunn’s remains were found inside his burned out truck on a Jessamine County boat ramp.

“My heart tells me that there were several people involved that my brother knew all of them well…they were people that he trusted he thought were friends,” she said.

http://liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html

Long believes those people lured her brother someplace else then shot him before moving his body and truck to the boat ramp where it was set on fire.

“They covered him up with a tarp, and then threw junk and stuff on top of him… Murdered him in one place then took him there to get rid of him,” she said.

In six years, police have never named a suspect.

Long tries to remain positive when the investigation seems tuck on pause.

“I have hope and that’s all I have left. I have faith, but I don’t have faith in the criminal justice system in this case because I don’t think he was influential enough to make it a priority,” she said.

Long said two week leading up to her brother’s death, something was really bothering him and wonder if that is linked to his murder.
