Missing Person Mary Coulthard of Janesville, Wisconsin

Those who live in the apartment complex at 208 North Main Street, say everything seemed as usual with Mary Coulthard in the hours leading up to her disappearance.

“She was happy, she was cheerful,” said Carol Klingforth and Mary Falk.

The friends have known Coulthard for two years. They were shocked to learn she hadn’t returned home by Saturday, after apparently leaving the building alone around 10 p.m Friday.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

“Yesterday morning a police officer came and brought her purse. Someone had found it over on Jackson Street and returned it to the police station. And then he was bringing it back to her. She wasn’t here,” Falk said.

“And then they called the emergency vehicle to come check her apartment, and she’s not in her apartment,” Klingforth said.

The friends aren’t sure what happened, but say Coulthard was always trying to help others–almost to a fault.

“Mary had a real soft spot in her heart for the homeless people,” Falk said. “But she was not by any means ‘street smart.’ So she was warned to be careful if she went down by the river, especially at night time to talk to the homeless people. But she still did it anyway. Your guess is as good as mine whether that’s where she was going.”

Pedophile Tracking Orange County, CA Man Arrested

Orange County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man for sexual battery on a child under 12 years old, as well as lewd and lascivious exhibition.

Deputies say Lashanel Bellamy called to report she witnessed the suspect, Ruben Roman, 63, sexually batter a child in her home on Friday, May 2.

Bellamy told deputies she went outside for 15 minutes, with her children asleep in their private bedroom. When she returned, she saw Roman sitting on the bed, attempting to force the child into performing oral sex.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

Bellamy stepped closer, and confirmed what she thought was happening, before Roman hesitated, and grabbed the child, stating “it’s not what it looks like.”

Bellamy then began gathering the children that were in the apartment, in an attempt to leave the residence. Police say that’s when Roman knocked on the door.

Roman tried to explain that Bellamy shouldn’t leave upset, because it was “the first time something like this ever happened”.

As Bellamy tried to leave, Roman allegedly grabbed her to physically restrain her, and according to Bellamy, a fight ensued.

She told deputies she grabbed a kitchen-style knife with a black handle, and stabbed the wall next to Roman. According to Bellamy, Roman then began choking her, and the two struggled for possession of the knife. She told police she threw the knife into Roman’s room, and was able to exit the apartment.

Bellamy told police that Roman yelled to her as she was leaving the residence that the child agreed to perform the sexual act, and “wanted it”.

Police arrived and transported Bellamy, her children, and Roman to separate hospitals. Roman was interviewed and told police he had just “exited the shower” when the child approached him about performing the sex act.

Investigators say Roman repeatedly blamed the victim, a child under the age of 12, because the victim “wanted” to perform oral sex on him. Investigators said Roman admitted he made a mistake, but continued to blame the victim.

Based on his confession, information obtained by deputies and the eyewitness account, deputies arrested Roman on one count of sexual battery of a child under 12, and one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition.

Pedophile Tracking Lafayette, LA Man Gets 14 Years for Child Porn

A judge this week sentenced a Lafayette man to 14 years in a federal prison for receiving child pornography on his computer, officials said.

U.S. District Court Judge Richard Haik on Thursday also ordered Gary Berry, 23, to 15 years of supervision once he’s released and to register as a sex offender.

Berry pleaded guilty in September to using file-sharing software to collect and distribute pornography of prepubescent children, “some involving infants,” online among other pedophiles online, U.S. Attorney Stephanie Finley said in a news release Friday.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

The FBI and State Police investigated the case, prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Luke Walker.

The case was part of Project Safe Childhood, a Justice Department effort to fight the sexual exploitation and abuse of children, Finley said.

For information on the project, visit projectsafechildhood.gov. To alert authorities of suspected child exploitation, call the Lafayette FBI at (337) 233-2164 or give the information at tips.fbi.gov
