Drug Dog Sweep Locates Crack Cocaine in Fake WD-40 Can

State police seized dozens of crack cocaine packets from an alleged Philadelphia drug dealer during a traffic stop Monday on state Route 115 in Bear Creek Township, according to charges filed.

Investigators say Cayre Omar Jones had the drugs hidden in a fake WD-40 can that was on the floor behind the passenger seat. He had plans to sell them to a drug dealer at the McDonald’s restaurant in Wilkes-Barre, they say.

The 21-year-old gave Trooper Mark Conrad permission to search his Cadillac sport utility vehicle and a narcotics dog led police to the drugs, arrest papers say.

Jones, of Erie Avenue in Philadelphia, was charged with possession of crack and possession with the intent to deliver crack.

Police took Jones to be arraigned by on-duty Magisterial District Judge Donald Whittaker, who ordered Jones jailed in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $150,000 cash bail.

In addition to the criminal charges, Jones was also cited for speeding and illegal window tint, the reasons for the traffic stop, arrest papers say.

According to arrest papers:

Jones told a trooper he was coming from Philadelphia to visit an aunt, but he couldn’t explain where she lived. He said he was coming to stay for a few days, but had no luggage and admitted not having a change of clothes. A trooper noticed a Philadelphia court summons on the passenger seat, and Jones explained it was due to an “altercation” he recently had involving a gun in Philadelphia.

A trooper then asked Jones if he could search the vehicle, and Jones consented to the search. A narcotics dog soon detected drugs behind the passenger seat. Police located the false WD-40 can and found 76 packets of crack cocaine.

After the drugs were found, Jones acknowledged he was delivering the crack to a person in Wilkes-Barre, police said.

Private Investigator, Police Searching for Bedroom Burglar

Two women in northern Kentucky have reported rude awakenings – a burglar creeping into their bedrooms and pulling their sheets off as they slept.

It first happened Sunday morning to a woman in Bellevue. A man came in through a bedroom window, stole cigarettes, a cellphone and $70.

“I was asleep in my bed and I felt my covers being lifted off of my legs and I sat up and saw the man crouched beside my bed. I screamed and he took off running out of my house. I don’t know if he was just wanting to take a peek, or if he had further intentions. That’s part of the hard part, is not knowing,” the woman said.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

According to the police report, a similar crime occurred in Newport, about two miles away, almost immediately afterwards. When Bellevue detectives arrived at that scene, they found the stolen cell phone from the first report. That victim’s sister says it shattered her sense of security.

“He wasn’t welcome. And it was just creepier that he felt comfortable. He pulled the sheets off of her and everything and then used her phone light to see her,” she said.

She said the crook left with another cellphone and her mother’s purse. Both victims said he got in through open windows. Now, they’re locking up, determined to hold on to whatever sense of safety they a have left.

“I’m not going to let somebody steal that from me because I feel safe here. And I love living here,” the woman said.

Detectives said they aren’t sure of the man’s intention but described the incident as “creepy.”

The burglar is described as a white man, 20-30 years old, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall with a skinny build. He was wearing jean shorts, an orange Bengals jersey with the number nine on the back, and a black baseball hat. If you have any information about the incident, contact police.

Missing Person Tenn. Woman Missing Since 2011, Found

A woman from Cleveland, Tenn., who has been missing since June 2011, was found walking along Miss. 613 in the Big Point community Tuesday night, according to Jackson County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Cherie Ward.

Tammy Renee King, 50, was taken to Singing River Hospital for observation and her family in Tennessee has been notified, Ward said.
“Someone spotted her walking along Highway 613 about a mile north of Temple Baptist church about 8 o’clock last night and called the sheriff’s department,” Ward said.
King had been housed in Grand Bay for about six weeks by Charlton Thompson and his wife, Christie Gertz, after finding her sleeping at a Tillman’s Corner carwash.

They were unaware she was a missing person, even after taking her to Mobile authorities to have her fingerprints checked.

The couple took King to Temple Baptist on Sunday, but King walked out of the service, leaving behind a bag with her identification.
The sheriff’s department sought the public’s help in locating her on Tuesday morning.
According to King’s mother, she suffered from mental illness and is prone to wander away when she is not on her medication.
Ward said members of the Temple Baptist congregation plan to drive King back to her Tennessee home when she is able to travel.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

The sexual crimes dated back some 20 years.

A grand jury indicted Gerald Dishman with 13 counts of rape involving children under the age of 12 in May of 2011. According to the indictment, the incidents occurred between 1985-94 and involved two different children.

The recommended sentencing is 10 years, probated to five years.

Dishman was the pastor at Denny Hollow Jesus Name Church on Highway 200 in Monticello.

One of the victims talked to LEX 18 in 2013. Going by the name “Becky,” the victim said she was hoping for justice, saying at the time, “I think it’s a disgrace. Anybody that would go to his church? It’s a disgrace because he’s nothing but a hypocrite. Anybody who goes to his church I think they’re hypocrites too.”

Becky said she and her sister were the victims of the sexual abuse.

“It was in the late 70’s when he first started raping me and it went on until I was 15 years old,” said Becky to LEX18 in 2013.
