Fraud Investigation Man Arrested After Trying to Scam Lexington Businesses

A man was arrested Friday after police say he scammed a Dairy Queen and tried to do the same at a Subway nearby.

Police said the man went to the Dairy Queen at Reynolds & Lansdowne and payed with what looked like a roll of dimes. But in reality, the dimes were only on each end of the roll and the rest was filled with pennies. An employee at DQ only realized it after the man was gone from the store.

Police said the same suspect then went to the Subway on Reynolds and tried to do the same thing, but the Subway employee opened the rolls while the suspect was in there.

He ran off when police were called.

A car matching the description given to police was seen headed toward Dairy Queen and an officer investigating the incident stopped the vehicle.

Police said the man had an active warrant from U.S. Marshals Office. They did not give any other details on that warrant, and they have not released the suspect’s name.

Wrongful Death Additional Details in 2010 Murder of School Bus Driver

After police released the name of the second person arrested in the 2010 murder of a Scott County school bus driver, more details are emerging about the man who was first identified and charged in the case.

Nicholas Willinger is in jail accused of robbing and murdering Sue Jones in 2010. On Friday, LEX 18’s reporter Leigh Searcy spoke with one of his ex-girlfriends who recalls an odd conversation she had with him.

http://liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html

Willinger is the man police say went to the home of Jones to steal from her after allegedly being told she had money. Police say he killed her when he realized she was home.

Ciji Jefferson, a neighbor who grew up just up the road from Jones and rode her school bus, has now been charged in connection with the case, too. She was arrested in late January, but her name was not released until this week.

LEX18 found a photo of the two accused on Facebook, just months after the murder.

Willinger’s ex-girlfriend said she found it was always hard to get Willinger to “open up,” but claims he told her “he had done some really bad things in his life.”

She says that conversation haunted her after his arrest.

On Willinger’s Facebook page, he posted that he attended “Juggalo University of Murder.”

Juggalos are fans of a hip-hop duo called the Insane Clown Posse. In recent years, several crimes like robbery and murder have been attributed to these fans.

Corporate Investigations by Liar Catchers

Client asked for Surveillance from the Liar Catchers team. We asked the many questions and as we did the preliminary brief, the client asked to be a part of that. The client was amazed that we had photographs of each and every part of the expected route of the subject for the target day, this early in the game. We informed the client ” the only successful Surveillance is one that has had extensive work performed prior to the start of the investigation”.

http://liarcatchers.com/corporate_investigations.html

Surveillance started yesterday, the subject stuck to the expected path, and the agent sitting in the coffee shop caught all we needed prior to 8am. The rest of the day was as expected, and the client was very pleased we recorded what was needed. Client happy, Liar catchers surveillance team happy, subject……. perhaps recklessly sharing confidential information is best not shared in a public setting.

Missing Person Enola Callison of Corpus Christi

A local family is desperately searching for a loved one who has been missing for five days now. They’re hoping that someone in the public might know where to find her.

Enola Callison is 55 years old and in the past, her family says she has left without notifying anyone — but never for this long.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

“She’s gone with friends other times, but she’d always be home within 24-48 hours, or have some sort of contact, but there’s been nothing,” her mother June Henderson said.

“We’re at a loss for what’s happened, or where she’s at or what is her purpose for leaving,” her granddaughter Candace Flores said.

On Saturday, Enola, her son and niece were barbecuing when her son noticed she was gone. He thought she would return, but she did not. Now it’s been five days, and there has been no word from her.

“She just walked away from her house,” Henderson said. “Nobody saw her leave, so we don’t know what she was wearing or carrying a bag.”

“Her vision is so impaired at night,” Flores said. “Can’t see, so that’s a concern for us that she’d be out or someone would see her with her impairment and hurt her.”

Callison left behind her cell phone. Her family has contacted friends, but no one knows where she is. They just want to know that she’s okay.

“We want her to come home,” Henderson said. “If she doesn’t want us to know where she is, that’s fine, but just to let us know, that’s okay.”

“You know, we want her to come home,” Flores said. “We’re worried about her.”

Her family says she wears a visor and sunglasses and has a significant scar on her neck. She was last seen on the 10,400 block of North Harrington Drive off Leopard. She stands five-foot four and weights 140 pounds.

The missing person’s unit at the Corpus Christi Police Department is looking for her. They say to call 911 if you see her.

Wrongful Death Second Person Arrested in Scoot County Woman’s Murder

Scott County Sheriff’s Office said two individuals were arrested in connection to the murder of Sue Jones.

We found out that one of the two arrested was Nicholas Willinger but the other name wasn’t released.

liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html

LEX 18 has learned that 28-year-old Ciji Jefferson is the second person charged in connection of the beating death of Jones.

Currently, Jefferson is locked up in the Osceola County Jail in Florida on a fugitive warrant.

Charges against Jefferson haven’t been released yet. Willinger is charged with murder and robbery.

Jefferson use to live in a house just half a mile from Jones’ home.

A neighbor said that on the morning of Feb. 4 2010, when Jones was found, saw two women, one believed to be Jefferson and a man he claims looked similar to Willinger, drive up from the direction of Jones’ home then stop at Jefferson’s old home.

He said after that day, he never saw the gold four door Chrysler they were driving again.

Pictures on Facebook show Willinger and Jefferson did know each other and hung out together.

Willinger’s arrest warrant states that he was given information that Jones had a “substantial amount of money” at her home and that she wouldn’t be there. He entered the home with intent to “commit a theft”.

Jones was home however, recovering from surgery in her bed. The warrant states Willinger struck her and removed items from her home including cash.

The neighbor suggest that the robbery turned brutal because Jones may have recognized someone.

Private Detective Man Wanted In Lexington Kidnapping, Rape Arrested In Michigan

A man wanted in a kidnapping and rape investigation out of Lexington has been arrested.

Parico D. Coffey, 21, was arrested Thursday in Inkster, Michigan, by U.S. Marshals, Lexington Police said.

Coffey is accused of kidnapping a woman from the Speedway on Versailles Road in Lexington back in December and sexually assaulting her.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

Police had been looking for Coffey since. He and another man, Dexter Watson who was arrested on other charges, were seen on surveillance video from the gas station around 5:45 a.m. that Tuesday morning, shortly before the woman was attacked at gunpoint, forced into her car and taken away by the two men.

The victim was able to get out of the car about half a mile from the gas station on Bordeaux Drive, where she ran from door to door, naked, knocking and begging for help.

A neighbor said when his daughters got to the door, the victim had already run for help to another home.

The neighbor who did end up helping the victim told LEX 18 she was crying, freezing and only wearing socks. That neighbor called police and gave the victim a blanket. She was taken to UK Hospital for treatment.

Police found the victim’s abandoned Ford Taurus at a store on Alexandria Drive.
