Lexington Police are working a serious accident on Winchester Road.

The head-on collission happened around 3:00 Saturday afternoon near Walnut Grove.

Police say four people have been taken to the hospital, 2 of them with life-threatening injuries.

Winchester Road is shut down in both directions for at least 2 hours. Avoid the area if possible.

Sheriff’s deputies in Laurel County are looking for a woman who they say stabbed a man Friday night during an argument.

Deputies say it happened at a house on Line Creek Road, just outside of London around 9:30 pm. At the house they found Gilbert Smith suffering from several stab wounds. He was taken to UK Hospital.

Investigators say Smith had been arguing with Michelle Smith. They say during that argument she got a butcher knife and stabbed Gilbert, then took off before police could get there.

Sacramento Police are asking for help in finding a 16-year-old boy who has been missing since Wednesday.

Chase Felgenhauer left his Hawkcrest Drive home that morning riding a red and silver mountain bike. He never showed up to school and has reportedly not been seen since.

He was wearing a black and red hat with the word “Wolf” on it.

Felgenhauer’s family reportedly is worried about his welfare.

A 16-year-old boy missing for two days in the woods was found safe Friday, according to the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Mark Nelson said a deputy on an ATV found Elijah Velke at about 6:15 p.m. The boy was yelling for help and called out to the deputy that he was lost. Crews brought Velke out of the woods at about 8:45 p.m. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for exposure.

“We thank God that he was found and pray that he is healthy and well,” said Nelson.

A team of searchers had spent all day Friday scouring miles of steep and rugged terrain looking for the teenager.

The boy’s family said they believed he went out in the woods behind their home in the 900 block of McKee Road, which he does often, and was worried he was lost or injured.

He had not been seen since at least midday Wednesday. When he did not return home that night, the family started looking for him and called authorities about noon Thursday. The family continued to search until just before 7 p.m. and then called the sheriff’s office again to report they still hadn’t found him. Deputies were dispatched and searchers arrived in the area at about 9 p.m. They searched the woods and roads throughout the night.

On Friday morning, more searchers from other counties and the state began arriving to join the effort. A helicopter was set to arrive in the morning but was delayed until the afternoon because of mechanical problems.

About 50 volunteers were involved in the search of about 15 square miles of rugged timberland. In addition to the helicopter, they used search dogs and ATVs.

D.C. Police are seeking public assistance locating a critical missing person identified as 75-year-old Dewitt Davis.

Davis was last seen at a park located at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Upshur Street, NW, at approximately 12:09 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, 2013.

Police describe Davis as a black male, approximately 5’10″ tall, around 160 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue slacks, a multicolored flannel shirt, and was wearing glasses.

Davis may be in need of medical attention.

The Pueblo Police Department wants to warn people about a new phone scam.

Police said citizens have been receiving calls from an individual who claims to be from a computer company, such as Microsoft or Hotmail.

Police said the caller then tells the person that their computer has been infected with a virus and sends them to a website where the caller is able to gain remote access to the computer.

From that point the scammer can gather any information stored on the computer.

Police said people need to be cautious when receiving unsolicited calls and should never give out personal information over the phone.

Two additional suspects are in custody in connection with a deadly shooting out of Louisville.

One of them was hit by police gunfire during a shootout Thursday night.

Jevon Curry and Charles Washington face charges of murder, robbery and burglary, following the shooting death of Paul Barber.

Barber was gunned down Wednesday night when a group of armed men broke into his apartment. Police say Barber was trying to run out of the apartment when he was killed.

His one-week-old son and three other adults including Barber’s fiance, were inside the apartment when the shooting happened.

A Golden Alert was issued Friday as law enforcement officials and citizens searched for former Breckinridge County Sheriff Bobby Haynes.

Haynes, 89, was last seen around 3:30 p.m. Thursday driving a red 1994 Chevrolet S-10 on his family’s property while other members of his family were bailing hay. The truck has Kentucky license plate number 636-BBB. Haynes was wearing western-style clothing and a U.S. Navy cap. Authorities said Haynes has Alzheimer’s disease.
