A woman was airlifted to UK Hospital after a wreck involving three vehicles in Laurel County Thursday morning.
The crash happened just before 11 a.m. on U.S. 25 south near London. Three vehicles involved: car, van, and commercial semi truck. Police say Jami N. Morgan, 32, of London was driving car northbound when she sideswiped a van going southbound.

Morgan’s car wound up in southbound lane and struck a commercial semi head on. Morgan was trapped in her car and had to be removed with the Jaws of Life.
Police say the road was reopened just before 2 p.m.
