State Police say a woman couldn’t avoid hitting a man walking down a Grant County road Saturday night.
KSP says Sheila Ray was driving on Kentucky 36 when she hit and killed William Bowling.

Bowling was walking on the travel portion of the road and because of oncoming traffic, Police say Ray couldn’t swerve to avoid hitting him without putting herself in danger.
Ray was not under the influence at the time of the crash but it remains under investigation.
