Kentucky State Police warn of an Internet scam going on in eastern Kentucky.
Police say scammers use Craigslist to purchase items, and then send cashiers checks in amounts greater than the purchase price. The scammers ask the seller to cash the check, keep $50 for their trouble and send the balance to an address in the United Kingdom.
