Missing Person Danny Jack Gray of Canutillo, TX Missing 10+ Years

Authorities are asking the public’s help in locating a man who was reported missing from Canutillo more than 10 years ago.

Danny Jack Gray was last seen on Aug. 2, 2001, and has not been seen or heard from since.

The Texas Department of Public Safety Missing Persons Clearing House has classified Gray as an endangered missing person.

About the only clue offered that could have contributed to his abrupt disappearance was his marital breakup.

“Mr. Gray was depressed over a recent divorce,” according to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs).

Locally, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is in charge of the investigation, but has not reported any advances.

Gray, whose nickname was “DJ,” would be 57 years old today.

He is described as 5 feet 11, weighing about 165 pounds, with graying hair and blue eyes. He could have a mustache or a goatee.

He wears prescription eyeglasses.

Authorities have no details on what clothing he wore when he was last seen. He did not have any distinguishing scars or birthmarks.

NamUs, which assists law enforcement and families of missing persons, does not have any DNA, fingerprints or dental records on file in its database.

According to NamUS, about 100,000 people of all ages and backgrounds are reported missing across the United States each year.

NamUs (at namus.gov) is a national centralized repository and resource center for missing persons and records of unidentified deceased persons.
