A Carter County man has been indicted for murder in Elliot County.
Kyle S. Holbrook, age 20, of Olive Hill, is charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence. The charges are the result of a death investigation that originated in Elliott County in April 2011. During the investigation the body of Paul D. Bryant, age 19, was discovered in a pond in rural Elliott County.

On Monday, Holbrook was arrested on the indictment warrant. He is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
