Etowah County investigators have arrested a Glencoe man on four charges related to sexual abuse of a child.
Barry Todd Morgan, 52, was arrested Friday, Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin announced. He is being charged with facilitating solicitation of unlawful sexual conduct with a child, traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, second degree sodomy and second degree rape.

Investigators say Morgan had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl in Glencoe. The department worked with the James M. Barrie Center for Children during the investigation.
“It is alarming that these types of crimes continue to happen against our youth,” Entrekin said. “I applaud our investigators for their hard work in putting abusive individuals in jail.”
Morgan is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
