Drug Dog Sweep 3 Arrested in Garden City, Idaho

Two men and a woman are facing drug charges after being pulled over for a malfunctioning brake light, according to Garden City police.

An officer who stopped the car early Friday morning said driver Kyle James Todd, 24, seemed nervous and tried to hide a backpack from the officer. Todd and his passengers, 32-year-old Joshua David Dutil and 32-year-old Amy Louise Fellom, also gave odd answers to routine questions, the officer reported.

A drug dog brought to the scene alerted on the vehicle. A police search found a gram of methamphetamine, four grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia including syringes and a scale.

The occupants of the car were arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dutil was also charged with misdemeanor possession of prescription drugs, and Fellom was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

The three will have an initial court appearance at the Ada County Courthouse Friday afternoon.
