An arrest has been made in the missing person case of 31 y.o.a. Patricia Rodriquez of Lamesa. 32-year-old Miguel Angel Lugo has been arrested, and charged with 1st degree murder. It is believed that skeletal remains found on June 29th in Dawson County are those of Ms. Rodriquez. The arrest came on July 15, 2013 following a tip that Lugo had killed Ms. Rodriquez. Lugo confessed to killing ms. Rodriquez, and was later charged with her murder.

Autopsy, and lab results are still pending and a positive identification cannot be made until those results are received.
Miguel Angel Lugo remains in the Dawson County Jail as of Tuesday morning July 16, 2013, with bond set at one million dollars.
