UPDATE: July 17, 5:40 p.m. — The 1992 Honda Accord belonging to Whited has been located in the 3100 block of M.L.K. Blvd. She does not live in that area.

No contact has been made with Whited.

No foul play is suspected at this time, according to Capt. Marissa Tindale of the Glynn County Police Department.

GCPD said they do not know if foul play is a factor but the disappearance carries “unusual circumstances”.

She was last seen at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday leaving the Harley Davidson Store on Perry Lane Road.

Amber’s grandmother, Edith Whited, believes someone kidnapped her as she was leaving for her lunch break. She also said it is unlike Amber to not be in touch with anyone and she would not go anywhere without her kids.

The family had a party last weekend and according to Amber’s grandmother, that was the last time many people had heard from Amber.

Whited is the mother of a four and two-year old. The one year old birthday was on Wednesday and they have not been told about the situation as of yet.

“Just worried to death that whoever’s got her is going to hurt her and hoping and praying and putting it in the good Lord’s hands is all we can do.”

Amber drives a white colored 1992 Honda Accord, Ga. tag BQK6098.

If you have information on her whereabouts please call 912-554-7802 or Silent Witness at 912-264-1333.
