Identity Theft St. Louis Woman in Jail

A St. Louis woman is jailed in Madison County on charges she schemed to use stolen credit cards to buy iPads and other electronic items.

The (Alton) Telegraph (http://bit.ly/14kzOQe) reports prosecutors in Madison County have charged 44-year-old Valerie Cuevas with several counts of unlawful use of a credit card and aggravated identity theft.

Glen Carbon police Detective David Zarr says the scheme stretches from southeastern and central Missouri to the Madison County area.
