An Amber Alert was issued today to search for a 5-month-old girl, taken from her Yuma, Ariz., home by her biological father who police say has no custodial rights.
The two were reportedly seen this morning in Boulder City.
According to a release from the Yuma Police Department, officers went to the 3200 block of West Patricia Lane just before 10 p.m. Tuesday for a report of custodial interference.
The initial investigation revealed that Jeff Green, 47, took his 5-month-old biological daughter, Aleeha, from her mother after an argument about custody issues. Jeff Green has no custodial rights. Green has made suicidal comments to family and may be in possession of a firearm.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-10, 185 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair. He was last seen driving away with the child in a 1997 lime green Dodge truck with purple flames, Arizona plate NTY586.
Green was seen at 7 a.m. in the area of Boulder City and now believed to be in the Las Vegas area. He may be heading toward Montana.
The child, Aleeha Green, is a 5-month-old white female with blonde hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a white “onesie” that says “daddies girl’ on the front.
