The former mayor of Valley Park has waived his preliminary hearing on identity theft charges and will be arraigned later this month.
Nathan Grellner, 28, is accused of obtaining a credit card by using his estranged wife’s name, social security number and other personal information.

He was charged this summer with the crime after applying for the card in February.
Grellner is also awaiting trial in both St. Louis and Jefferson Counties for a variety of charges including missing funds in Valley Park and assault and DWI charges related to an incident with police in Brynes Mill in 2012.
