A woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a hit-and-run in Nicholasville Wednesday night.
Police say the woman was hit around 8:00 p.m. at Edgewood Drive and Southview by an unknown vehicle that was traveling westbound on Edgewood. They believe the vehicle may be silver because of debris left behind, but have no other details on what the vehicle looks like.

They say the woman was taken by ambulance to UK Hospital with life-threatening injuries. It is not clear what she was doing out in the road or sidewalk.
Police say there were no witnesses.
Because there is not much information on this case, police are counting on the public’s help in this investigation.
Police have not released the victim’s name.
