A Waco man pleaded guilty to three child sex charges on Thursday and a jury was hearing punishment testimony on Friday morning.
Christopher Shane Davis, 19, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child, court records showed.
Judge Matt Johnson accepted the guilty pleas Thursday in 54th District Court and a jury began hearing punishment testimony immediately afterward.

A spokesman for the district attorney’s office said punishment testimony was continuing Friday morning.
Documents presented during Davis’ plea hearing showed he was arrested for sexually assaulting a 6-year-old boy he was babysitting.
Davis remains in custody in the McLennan County Jail where he has been held since June 2012 in lieu of a $150,000 bond.
The incident was reported in December 2011.
