A Lexington man who told police he wrapped his infant daughter’s head in a blanket and killed her has been indicted for her death.
William Curtis McKenzie told investigators he wrapped the blanket around Ava Grace’s face in November.
The coroner says the infant suffocated.

McKenzie is charged with manslaughter as well as being a persistent felon.
He’s scheduled to enter a plea to those charges next week.
