An arrest was made Saturday after police were called to an armed robbery at the Cash Express in Mt. Vernon.
Lee Hamilton Speaks, 28, of Mount Vernon has been charged with Robbery 1st Degree.
The robbery at Cash Express was just one day after the Citizens Bank robbery in Brodhead. Since a suspect had been identified in the first robbery, Kentucky State Police were able to obtain a search warrant and make an arrest in the investigation.

Speaks has been lodged at the Rockcastle County Detention Center.
