Danville police are asking for your help in solving an armed robbery, home invasion. Investigators said they want to talk to Charlotte Wilburn, but don’t know where she is.
“I hope we can just find her and she can tell us who these people were,” said the victim.
Until Wilburn speaks up, the woman who was robbed is living in fear. She is too afraid to show more than her shadow or give her name. It’s all because of the attack that happened at her home on Nokomis Road Sunday afternoon.

“An armed male and female came into her house, just after she let someone else into her house,” said Cpt. James Monroe with the Danville Police Department.
The incident started right before 3:00 p.m. when the victim said Wilburn, her friend’s step mom, knocked on the door looking for her son.
“She acted like she had to get sick. She ran to the back door, unlocked it, and a few minutes later two people came in with masks,” said the victim.
“Held them at gun point, made them not do anything then they went and ransacked the house,” said Monroe.
Police said the man and woman got away with cash. However as the duo left, the victim said Wilburn ran out and jumped in the car with the couple, then drove off
When LEX 18 News asked investigators if Wilburn is considered a suspect, Monroe said “not at this time, it was suspicious but that doesn’t mean anything.”
Investigators said they just want to talk, and figure out who else they’re looking for. Something this victim said can’t come soon enough “I just hope we find out who it was and we get our money back.”
