Private Detective, Burglar Took Selfie Wearing Mask Before Break-In

Knox County deputies have made an arrest in connection with the burglary of a business in the Gray/Corbin community.

Officials say Kevin R. Lawson, 28, broke into Copes Market at the intersection of KY-830 and KY-1232 on Thursday and stole cash, guns, food and cigarettes. Deputies say Lawson wore gloves that they found in a neighbor’s yard. The sheriff says he also found a ‘selfie’ on Lawson’s cell phone picturing him wearing a mask prior to the burglary.
