A total of 36 people were arrested Friday on charges of unlawful distribution and facilitation to manufacture methamphetamine.
Kentucky State Police worked with the Scott County and Harrison County Sheriff’s departments on the drug round up.
“Methamphetamine is still very prominent in our area, as is heroin, as are many other hard drugs. It is such a scourge on our schools and on our children; they are the most vulnerable, they’re the ones that we want to make sure this is not accessible to,” said trooper Kendra Wilson.

Four others were indicted by the Scott County grand jury for engaging in an organized crime syndicate.
KSP say they do drug round ups as often as possible, trying to keep hard drugs off the streets.
