Police said Brown “has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old,” walks with a noticeable limp and holds his hands in front of his body.

He is described as a 5-foot-2, 160-pound black man with a dark complexion and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a full-length brown cloth coat, green pullover long-sleeve shirt and khaki pants with black shoes, police said.

Brown–who goes by the nickname “Shon”–has no identification or money, and has never used public transportation, the alert said.

Anyone with information should call Area North detectives at (312) 744-8200.
