Kentucky State Police is investigating the escape of an inmate from the Bole County Detention Center.
Police say Joshua N. Thompson, 32, walked away from the Boyle County Recycling Center Tuesday around 12:00 p.m. while out on work release.

Thompson was in jail serving time for possession of controlled substance first degree and wanton endangerment first degree.
Anyone with information about the possible location of Thompson is asked to contact local law enforcement or the Kentucky State Police.
