Pomeroy is the child’s biological, but noncustodial father, according to the sheriff’s office.

A warrants has also been issued for his girlfriend, Sabrina Nicole Vanmeter, who officials say fled with Pomeroy.

Officials say Pomeroy took off in a late 1990s or early 2000 model off-white 4-door Lexus car. No registration plate is available at this time.

He is described as a 5-10 and 180-lbs man with shaved head and thin beard. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and camo pants.

The child, officials say, was taken from the bathtub and had no clothes on at the time of the incident.

Both Pomeroy and Vanmeter and wanted for questioning.

Officials say despite some comments on social media, the case has not been solved and the child has not been returned home. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Kentucky State Police regarding the issuance of an Amber Alert.

Anyone with information regarding Pomeroy, Vanmeter or child’s location is asked to contact 911 or 270-842-1633.
