Private Detective, Active Meth Labs Found in Boyle County

While doing a welfare check, Adult Protective Services along with the sheriff’s department in Boyle County found concerning materials inside the home of an 81-year-old woman.

Upon arrival at the home on Third Street in Junction City, they could smell chemicals and found two active meth labs.

Police said meth was in the process of being made in a one step lab.

He is being taken to the Boyle County Detention Center.

The elderly woman is now with other family members.
