Lexington police arrested a man after a homeowner a found him in the shower.
Police say Ryan M. Carpenter, 32, entered the home through a window and took a shower. Officers say carpenter left when confronted by the homeowner.

According to court documents, Carpenter has mental problems and told officers he feels compelled to burglarize homes and take showers when his own hot water runs out.
Police charged Carpenter with burglary.
