Lexington police continue to search for three men who eluded them in a stolen car early Thursday morning.
Police say an officer spotted a suspicious vehicle around 1 a.m., and the driver sped off when he went to check it out. The officer followed, and police say speeds reached 80 mph, leading the officer to terminate the short chase for safety sake.

Police say officers later located the car wrecked at Transylvania Park, but found no sign of the three young men who were inside.
