A Lexington business owner’s recent investment should lead to the arrest of the truckload of burglars who stole from his car wash.
On August 26, in broad daylight some thieves were caught on the surveillance cameras at Sami’s Car Wash.
“Other people are washing their cars, business as usual is happening, but these individuals dismantle property inside one of the bays, put it in the truck and drive off,” says Detective Jason Rothermund.

Which is precisely why the business owner invested in a way to fight back against these thieves. The owners turned over the photos to the police.
Detectives tried running the license plate on the older model Chevy truck, with a metal toolbox, but it was a dead end.
