Police are investigating the death of a woman in Marion County Thursday.
Kentucky State Police say Lebanon police reported a woman lying in her driveway on Parkside Drive around 7 p.m., suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. EMS took the woman to Springview Hospital where the Marion County coroner pronounced her dead.

Police identified the woman as Susan D. Summers, 46.
Officials say an autopsy is scheduled for Friday in Louisville.
Police have not released any other information on the investigation.
