Deputies arrested two people Tuesday night after a drug dog found a hidden compartment in the vehicle.
McDonough County Sheriff Rick VanBrooker says deputies arrested Cory J. Custer, 29, of Plymouth, Illinois, and Megan J. Plowman, 22, of Keokuk, Iowa.
VanBrooker says a deputy stopped the vehicle on US 136, west of Highway 41, and called in a drug dog. Deputies then found 1.5 grams of methamphetamine in a coffee filter and digital scales. He says they also took a pipe with meth residue from Plowman.
