Private Detective: Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed in Lexington

An armed man robbed a pizza delivery driver in Lexington early Wednesday morning.

Police say the driver for Goodfellas Pizzeria was making a delivery along Martin Luther King Boulevard just after midnight when he discovered the delivery address was not real. The driver called the number provided with the order, and the person who answered told him to bring it down the street. When he did, a man armed with a gun approached near South Limestone and robbed him. Police say the suspect got away with cash, the pizza and a two-liter of soda.
