A Laurel County man was indicted by a grand jury after he was detained by a homeowner during an alleged burglary.
Joshua Smith was arrested in December of 2014 after he was allegedly caught burglarizing a home in Pulaski County by the homeowner. According to a citation, a struggle ensued and the homeowner managed to subdue Smith until deputies arrived.

Smith was charged with first degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The grand jury returned an indictment on Smith Monday.
Smith is currently incarcerated and held on a $100,000 cash bond.
