Two men from Tallassee were arrested over the weekend involving an ongoing investigation in DeKalb County. Thomas Fuller, 62, and Glenn Fuller, 47, both face charges of first degree insurance fraud.
The case stems from a house fire that happened October 18, 2014 in Valley Head.
Thomas is a former police officer from Elmore County. Investigators say he was the Hammondville Police Chief when the fire occurred. Investigators say Tom and Glenn are not related, but have lived at the same residence in Valley Head and Tallassee.

Investigators arrested both men after searching their home in Tallassee, and transported them do the DeKalb County Detention Center. The investigation, led by Deputy State Fire Marshall Ray Cumbuy, is still ongoing.
