Lexington Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob the Speedway on New Circle Road around 2:30 Wednesday morning.
The man walked into the station and implied that he had a weapon and demanded cash. The clerk told the suspect that he could not open the drawer. Police say several customers came in, scaring off the robber.

Police say that the man had a partially covered face making it difficult to identify him.
The man did not get away with any money.
