Police officers in Breathitt County say they’ve made an arrest in a kidnapping case. According to Jackson Police, a woman was taken against her will by three people around 5 a.m. Friday morning on Town Hill Road.
Investigators say the woman was bound with tape, assaulted, threatened with weapons and tormented for about 9 hours. Her vehicle was also taken and damaged.
At some point, the suspects brought the woman back to Town Hill Road, where a friend of the victim was able to rescue her, according to police. The victim was taken to the hospital was she was treated and released for her injuries.

One of the suspects, Sharon Campbell, was arrested Saturday. Two other suspects, David Haddix and William Gardner, were arrested Sunday morning.
Police say the woman was an ex-girlfriend of Haddix. The suspects are facing a wide range of charges, including kidnapping, wanton endangerment, assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, terroristic threatening and criminal mischief.
