The body of a missing Kansas woman has been found after her killer called 9-1-1.
Mitchell: “Um, you just had some officers come by and uh, there’s. They were looking for a missing person.”
Dispatch: “Okay.”
Mitchell: “And uh, they probably need to get back over here because I have murdered her.”
Dispatch: “I’m sorry, you’ve done what?”
Mitchell: “I killed her.”
Loved ones began to worry last week after no one could get ahold of Tanya Tandoc.

Her boyfriend asked police to go check on her. They questioned her roommate, Curt Mitchell.
But it was after police left that Mitchell decided to talk.
Mitchell: “Um, I have no weapons and I intend no harm to anyone. I just uh.. It happened last night. It was kind of a crime of passion.”
Dispatch: “Who is this girl?”
Mitchell: “Uh, her name is Tanya Tandoc.”
Dispatch: “How do you know her?”
Mitchell: “We were roommates and for a short time involved.”
Dispatch: “Okay, hang on one second for me. Okay?”
Police say Mitchell waited on the porch for officers to return.
Tandoc’s body was found in the basement. Investigators say she died from blunt force trauma, but not as the result of an argument.
Tandoc’s boyfriend believes Mitchell may have been mad because she had asked him to move out.
