Lexington police have arrested a man wanted in connection with an arson last month.
Police say officers arrested William L. Ball Jr., 24, Tuesday afternoon after he was caught on video taking items from a purse at Wing Zone. According to court documents, police then connected Ball with a fire that was set just after midnight on May 20. Police say Ball called the person living in the home about an hour before the fire, saying he was going to burn the house down.

Ball also faces a drug charge. Police say he dropped 33 grams of heroin on the ground as he was entering police headquarters.
Police charged Ball with arson, burglary, trafficking in controlled substance and theft by unlawful taking.
