A Lexington woman is telling her terrifying story of a violent break-in this morning at her residence on Pimlico Parkway, where she was bound, stabbed, and sexually assaulted.
She says she had just taken a shower and was getting dressed when when she was alerted to the intruders by her dog.
“I just turned to the side and unlocked my phone to where I could call 911 and at first they didn’t understand me,” she says. “I don’t know why they did it.”

She says she didn’t get a glimpse of either of her two attackers, but hopes they’re caught so she can begin to heal.
“I still had the phone in my hand, didn’t even think I hit send and there was duct tape being put across my mouth with this hand and I was stabbed in the shoulder and I was hit,” she says. “I don’t know with what and I don’t know how long I was out.”
If you know anything about the assault, you’re urged to call Crime Stoppers at 859.253.2020.
