Search crews in Rowan County are looking for a woman with a medical condition reported missing Monday morning.
According to Rowan County Emergency Management, Catherine “Louise” Purnell, 43, was last seen early Monday in the downtown area of Farmers, near US 60 west of Morehead. Officials believe she may be on her way to Elliottville.

Purnell is 5’8”, 120 pounds, with salt and pepper hair. She uses a walker to get around and has a surgical boot on her left foot.
Emergency Management asks that anyone who may have given Purnell a ride, or seen her on Monday, call Rowan County Dispatch at 606-784-7511.
