Private Detective: Home Health Worker Pleads Not Guilty to Theft

A home health worker accused of stealing money from a patient pleaded not guilty in a Lexington courtroom Friday.

According to an arrest citation, MacKenzie Meador, 23, would occasionally help an elderly patient write checks for bills. When the bank called the patient, asking about some of the checks, the patient denied writing any to Meador, saying she was paid from the home health service.
