Insurance fraud charges have been leveled against a man accused of filing false claims involving damage to his vehicle three times.
Raymond Glenn, III, 51, of 38 Hannah Court, Whiteville, has been charged with three counts each of insurance fraud and attempting to obtain property by false pretense and one count each of solicitation to commit burning of personal property, driving while license is revoked and possession of a firearm by a felon, a news release from N.C. Insurance Commissioner Wayne Goodwin said.

Glenn was arrested on Sept. 10 in Columbus County and placed under an $8,800 bond.
