A serious two vehicle collision on Fox Creek Road in Anderson County has shut down the road.
Investigators say that it happened around 1:30 p.m.
Eyewitnesses say a grey car traveling west collided head on with a red pick up truck that was heading east.
The man driving the grey car was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say that both vehicles had infants in car seats in them. Witnesses say that both of the children seemed responsive and they were transported to UK with non-life threatening injuries.
“Just wanted to calm them down where they didn’t move because,” said Bobby Waddle, a witness to the wreck. “Just get the kids out get them calmed down to see if they was alright.”
At this time the condition of the driver of the pick up truck and the front seat passenger of the grey car is unknown.
