Deputies are searching for the man they say robbed a Kroger Pharmacy in Jessamine County.
Officials tell LEX 18 that the robbery happened Wednesday at the Kroger Pharmacy on Harrodsburg Road.
Officers say a white man in his 20s wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie, and a surgical mask walked up to the pharmacy counter and handed a note to the clerk. The note read, “You have 30 seconds to put bottles of oxycodine in a bag or someone would get hurt.” The clerk complied and the man fled the scene on foot.
Deputies say that the man was in the store pretending to shop a while before he decided to commit the robbery.
Surveillance video from the store was taken into evidence. If you have any information, you are asked to contact law enforcement.
