A Russell County family continues the search for 24-year old Whitney Copley. The young mother was last seen on September 30th.
Back in November, her family found the pants she was wearing when she disappeared. After 3 months of anguish, a new team has taken up the task of trying to find her.
The Equusearch Team says they’ve taken on about 1,300 cases in more than 40 states. If someone is in need, like the Copley’s, they jump in.

“We never know where we are going to go. We go where we are called and when we are needed,” said searcher James Kannedy.
“We’re just glad that they actually took the time out of their day to help us,” said Sarah Copley, Whitney’s sister.
The search party reconvenes Sunday in Russell County at 8 a.m. central time.
