The 2008 murder of Jim Duckett is just one of the unsolved crimes that are printed on cards for the Kentucky Unsolved Cases playing cards deck.
The decks are passed out to Kentucky prison inmates, police hoping that someone can help fill in the blanks.
Katherine Duckett Nichols says that she hadn’t heard from her brother in a while when she decided to go to his Shelby County home and check on him. She found him tied to a chair in the bathroom with his throat slashed.

“It took me a second, and then you realize, you’re standing in a crime scene,” Katherine told LEX 18’s Michael Berk.
Investigators did not find much evidence and had very few suspects in the case. It’s now in its eighth year of being a Kentucky State Police unsolved case.
Katherine says she would give anything to know what happened to her brother.
State Police urge anyone with any information about the case to contact them.
