Lexington Police are investigating the city’s latest robbery after the suspect struck the clerk with his taser.
It happened around 5:47 Monday morning at the Bluegrass Extended Stay on Richmond. Police say a black male, standing 6’1 and weighing around 150 pounds came in and demanded cash. That man was wearing gloves and a gray hoodie.

Police say that man had a taser and used it to beat the clerk during the robbery. The clerk was not seriously injured.
This is the second time the hotel has been robbed in the last few weeks.
