Accident Reconstruction Woman Killed in Pulaski County Crash

A 45-year-old woman was killed in a motorcycle crash in Burnside on Thursday, police confirm.

According to a press release from Burnside Police, officers responded to a collision at the intersection  of Kentucky Higway 1247 and US Highway 27. Police say that 72-year-old Bobby Phillips was attempting to turn when he pulled his vehicle into the path of a motorcycle driven by Taralynne Seefeldt.

Seefeldt was wearing protective gear, but she sustained serious injuries. She died at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

The road was closed for around five hours while crash reconstruction units were on scene.  Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor.
